Cancellation & Refund Policy
Welcome to Celebrate Vacation. We understand that travel plans may change because of personal circumstances, unforeseen events, or changes made by service providers. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the general procedure for cancelling bookings and requesting refunds for travel services booked through Celebrate Vacation.
All cancellations, amendments, and refund requests are subject to the terms communicated at the time of booking, the relevant service provider's policies, and applicable laws.
1. General Cancellation Policy
Cancellation conditions vary depending on the type of service, supplier, booking date, travel date, fare conditions, and promotional offer selected.
- Review the cancellation terms before confirming a booking.
- Submit cancellation requests through the authorized booking channel.
- Keep your booking reference and payment receipt for reference.
- Cancellation charges may apply according to the confirmed booking conditions.
- Some promotional, discounted, or special-rate bookings may be non-refundable.
- Any applicable taxes, service fees, convenience fees, and supplier charges will be handled according to the disclosed terms and applicable law.
2. How to Cancel a Booking
To request cancellation, please follow these steps:
- Contact Celebrate Vacation using the official contact details listed below.
- Provide your booking ID, lead guest name, registered phone number, and registered email address.
- Specify the service you wish to cancel and the reason for cancellation.
- Wait for written confirmation that your cancellation request has been received and processed.
- Check the applicable cancellation charges and refund eligibility communicated for your booking.
Sending a cancellation request does not automatically mean the booking has been cancelled. The cancellation becomes effective according to the applicable booking conditions and confirmation provided by the authorized booking channel.
3. Hotel Booking Cancellation
Hotel reservations are subject to the cancellation policy of the individual property and the rate plan selected at the time of booking.
- Free cancellation is available only when expressly stated in the booking confirmation.
- Bookings cancelled after the free-cancellation deadline may attract cancellation charges.
- Non-refundable bookings may not qualify for a refund when cancelled by the guest, except where required by applicable law or the confirmed terms.
- Failure to arrive at the property without prior cancellation may be treated as a no-show.
- Early check-out, shortening a stay, or reducing the number of rooms may be subject to separate conditions.
- Any refund for hotel bookings depends on the applicable rate conditions and the amount refundable by the property or supplier.
4. Holiday Packages and Tour Cancellation
Domestic and international holiday packages may include hotels, transportation, sightseeing, activities, meals, guides, and other services provided by different suppliers.
Cancellation of a holiday package may result in charges from one or more suppliers. The final cancellation amount will be determined according to the confirmed itinerary, payment terms, supplier rules, and cancellation conditions applicable to the package.
- Advance payments and booking deposits may be non-refundable where stated in the confirmed terms.
- Cancellation charges may increase as the departure date approaches.
- Unused hotel nights, meals, transfers, sightseeing, or other services may not be refundable.
- Special-event dates, peak-season bookings, and customized itineraries may have separate cancellation terms.
- Visa rejection, personal emergencies, or a change of travel plans do not automatically entitle a guest to a full refund.
- Any applicable refund will be calculated after considering the relevant supplier charges and the booking terms.
5. Flight Ticket Cancellation
Flight cancellations and amendments are subject to the airline's fare rules and the conditions of the ticket purchased.
- Airline cancellation penalties and applicable service fees may be deducted where permitted.
- Some promotional fares may be non-refundable or may allow only limited changes.
- Refund eligibility for taxes and other ticket components depends on the airline's rules and applicable law.
- Missed flights and no-shows may be subject to additional restrictions.
- Passengers should verify cancellation confirmation and any airline-specific requirements.
If the airline cancels or materially changes a flight, available options will depend on the airline's policy, applicable passenger rights, and the conditions of the ticket.
6. Bus, Cab and Transportation Bookings
Cancellation of bus tickets, cab reservations, airport transfers, self-drive vehicles, and other transportation services is governed by the relevant operator's terms.
- Cancellation charges may depend on the time remaining before departure or pickup.
- Late cancellations and no-shows may be non-refundable.
- Refunds for operator-initiated cancellations will be handled according to the applicable policy and law.
- Additional services or charges already incurred may not be refundable where permitted by the booking terms.
7. Visa Services and International Travel
Visa application fees, embassy fees, courier fees, appointment charges, and other third-party costs may be non-refundable once incurred, subject to the relevant provider's terms and applicable law.
Visa rejection, delayed processing, missing documents, or a traveller's inability to travel does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund of all amounts paid.
Any refund for visa-related services will be assessed according to the specific service purchased and the applicable provider conditions.
8. Cancellation by Celebrate Vacation or a Service Provider
In certain circumstances, a booking may be cancelled by Celebrate Vacation or a service provider because of unavailability, operational issues, payment problems, safety concerns, or other circumstances permitted under the applicable booking conditions.
Where a booking cannot be confirmed, or a service provider cancels a service, available alternatives or refunds will be communicated in accordance with the booking terms, supplier policy, and applicable law.
Any refund will depend on the amounts paid, the nature of the cancellation, and the refund obligations applicable to the relevant service.
9. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Circumstances
Events beyond reasonable control may affect travel arrangements. These may include natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, security incidents, or significant operational disruptions.
If such circumstances affect a booking, Celebrate Vacation will communicate available options where reasonably possible. Changes, cancellations, credits, or refunds will be handled under the applicable supplier conditions and relevant legal requirements.
A force majeure event does not automatically guarantee a full refund for every component of a booking.
10. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility is assessed based on the type of booking, payment received, cancellation date, supplier conditions, and applicable law.
A refund may be available where:
- The booking is cancelled within an expressly stated free-cancellation period.
- The applicable supplier approves a refund under the booking conditions.
- A confirmed booking cannot be provided and a refund is due.
- A service provider cancels a service and the applicable terms provide for a refund.
- A refund is otherwise required by applicable law.
The refundable amount may be less than the total amount originally paid if valid cancellation charges or other disclosed, applicable deductions apply.
11. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved and the necessary funds have been received from the relevant service provider, Celebrate Vacation will initiate processing in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and payment-provider procedures.
The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on the original payment method, bank, card issuer, payment gateway, and supplier processing time.
If your refund has not arrived within the timeframe communicated to you, please contact us with your booking reference and payment details. Do not send passwords, OTPs, or card security codes.
12. Refund Method
Wherever possible, approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the booking. Additional verification or bank details may be required where the payment provider or applicable rules require them.
Celebrate Vacation will not request your banking password, payment PIN, or OTP to process a refund. Please use only official communication channels.
13. Non-Refundable Charges
Certain charges may not be refundable if they have already been incurred or are expressly non-refundable under the confirmed booking terms, subject to applicable law.
Examples may include:
- Non-refundable hotel or travel fares.
- Embassy or visa application fees already paid to the relevant authority.
- Supplier cancellation penalties.
- Charges for services already provided.
- Other disclosed third-party charges that cannot be recovered.
14. Duplicate Payments and Failed Transactions
If you believe that you have been charged more than once for a single booking, please contact Celebrate Vacation with the transaction references and proof of payment.
Failed or incomplete transactions will be reviewed with the relevant payment provider. Reversals and refunds depend on confirmation of the transaction status and the applicable banking process.
15. Booking Amendments and Rescheduling
Requests to change travel dates, guest names, room types, destinations, itineraries, or other booking details are subject to availability and supplier approval.
Amendments may involve fare differences, additional service fees, or supplier charges. If a requested change cannot be accommodated, cancellation will be governed by the applicable cancellation policy.
16. No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a guest does not arrive for the booked service and has not completed a valid cancellation in accordance with the applicable policy.
No-show bookings may be non-refundable or subject to the supplier's specified penalty. Guests should contact the service provider promptly if a delay or unexpected situation may affect arrival.
